Resume and regeneration

Wave Up keeps nothing. To reopen an assessment, or produce its PDF again, you keep a resume bundle: resume_bundle in the result.

The resume bundle

• It holds the assessment inputs (drawings, answers, area, body measurements), encrypted with a key that only Wave Up holds. You cannot read it.
• It is bound to your account: presented by another partner, it is rejected (403 bundle_not_owned).
• Any tampering is detected (422 bundle_unreadable).
• Size: from a few KB up to about 150 KB. Store it as text, with the result, in your patient record.
• It stays readable when Wave Up rotates its encryption keys.

Reopen an assessment

Create a new session with the bundle:

The component opens pre-filled with the drawings and answers. The area and body measurements of the new session prevail, so an updated weight is taken into account. A questionnaire answered again replaces the previous answer.

Regenerate a result or a PDF

Without the Accept: application/pdf header, the response is the JSON result. The computation is redone with the current algorithms (see versions) and nothing is stored.
